Floyd Mayweather recently attended the Super Bowl last Sunday where the Kansas City Chiefs won against the San Francisco 49ers. Although the boxing champion made the news outside anything boxing related. It was an altercation before the biggest football game of the year that sparked some talk regarding the WBC super featherweight champion.

It was reported by TMZ that Floyd Mayweather was accused of assaulting a fan prior to the Super Bowl. Ricco Kimborough claimed that the pound for pound boxer put his hands on him at the Fontainebleau Hilton hotel last February 1, 2020. This was a day before the big game played in the Hard Rock Stadium.

Kimborough was asking for a photograph from Floyd Mayweather but his request was turned down. This eventually ensued a commotion between the two as a heated verbal exchange developed. Kimborough claims that Floyd Mayweather’s security guard pushed him while Mayweather can be heard saying, “I’ll beat your ass.”

Video of the altercation has surfaced but there is no physical assault caught on tape. It features an irate Ricco Kimborough talking to Floyd Mayweather. There was no physical fight on camera, only Floyd Mayweather and Ricco Kimborough hurling remarks at each other. It is also seen that Kimborough is told to relax and step back by Floyd’s entourage.

The Miami Beach Police Department is now investigating the allegations from this incident - a possible simple assault

Floyd Mayweather was seen in attendance during the big game as he posed for a photo. It made rounds around the Internet with his Louis Vuitton outfit on full display.

Floyd Mayweather is known to be one of the most successful boxers in this generation. Nicknamed “money” Floyd Mayweather has been one of the most lucrative boxers in the current era. He’s known for the lavish lifestyle and a confident display of his cash, being a member of Forbes list of 50 highest-paid athletes on separate occasions. He has never lost a single match out of his 50 professional boxing fights.
