Following four recalls for a number of cars, pickup trucks, and SUVs, Ford (F) has issued a recall for select 2017 Ford Explorers because their seat-frame edge maybe improperly “coined,” which could cause a hand injury.

According to the automaker, the Explorers affected by the recall are equipped with power seats and may have seat frames with sharp edges that could cause an injury when an owner or passenger reaches between the power front seat and the center console.

The recall affects 311,907 vehicles in the U.S. with another 23,380 Explorers in Canada recalled and 3,045 in Mexico.

The Explorer vehicles were built at Ford’s Chicago Assembly plant from Feb 13, 2016, to Oct. 25, 2017.

To repair the issue, Ford said its dealers will install flocked tape to the exposed edge and tab on the inboard side of the power seat frames.

Ford is urging Explorer owners to use caution and to avoid contact with the sharp edge of the seat frame until a dealer has completed the repair.

The company has received 31 reports of hand injuries from the sharp edges.

The recall number is 19S29.

Shares of Ford stock were up 0.96 percent as of 12:17 p.m. ET on Friday.
