Russell Rhodes, a news anchor at Fox 13 in Tampa Bay program, was arrested for alleged drunken driving and resisting arrest on Friday night.

Russell Rhodes was arrested when officers saw him driving a 2006 BMW 325i recklessly in a parking garage; He got out of the vehicle with his belt undone and his pants unbuttoned. Deputies say he seemed to be drunk.

Russell Rhodes' official charges are obstructing an officer without violence. He was released Saturday morning after posting $500 bail.

Rhodes received treatment for facial injuries while being taken down by the deputy at Tampa General Hospital. Blood tests are now being reviewed to determine how intoxicated Rhodes may have been.

Russell Rhodes has been with Fox 13 in Tampa since 1994 and is not the first news anchor arrested to make the national spotlight.
