After missing multiple unofficial release dates, it seems like Frank Ocean’s highly-anticipated “Boys Don’t Cry” will never release but thanks to rapper Lil B, we now know a little more about the album.

During an interview with Dazed, the California rapper revealed that he worked with Ocean on the singer’s upcoming album. Lil B didn’t reveal whether he rapped on the project or produced a song, but any information about “Boys Don’t Cry” is sure to please fans.

“Frank Ocean was amazing. He called me to come out and do some stuff for his album, ‘Boys Don’t Cry,’ that’s coming out,” the rapper said. “Frank is amazing. He’s a beautiful man with a beautiful voice. He’s a very strong man, a very strong person. Anything that I can do to help him, I will.”

When pressed for more information about the “Channel Orange” singer’s album, Lil B was more coy. “If Frank releases. Let’s see what Frank releases. Frank has the material.”

The last we heard about Ocean’s album came after fans believed they found the release date. Earlier this summer, Ocean posted a photo of a library card with various due dates. At the bottom of the list was the date “July 2016.” Although fans originally believed the project would release in July, “Boys Don’t Cry” never came. The New York Times also said the album would release on Aug. 5, but the report turned out to be false.

Fast forward to August and some fans pointed out a date on the photo that went unnoticed before: November 13, 2016. The date is towards the middle of the photo, written over a “November 2015” date. Fans of Ocean are now holding out hope that the album will arrive this fall.
