Pizza Hut is giving the graduating High School Class of 2020 one more thing to celebrate – free pizza. The pizza chain is giving away 500,000 free pizzas to graduating seniors through May 28.

The company announced the promotion on its website, saying it teamed up with America’s dairy farmers to honor this year’s graduating class. Graduates will receive a digital coupon for a free medium one-topping pizza that can be redeemed online through June 4 by signing up for a Hut Rewards account at www.pizzahut.com/gradparty.

There is no purchase necessary to get in on the free pizza deal, which Pizza Hut said is available while supplies last. Graduates without a Hut Rewards account can also sign up to receive the free pizza deal. Pizzas can be ordered for delivery, carryout, or curbside pickup and through the Pizza Hut app or website.

"Our brand has a long history of celebrating moments that matter – like graduations – and Pizza Hut takes pride in being a part of our customers' big days,” George Felix, chief marketing officer at Pizza Hut, said in a statement. “So, it's only natural that we'd be there for students and their families to help celebrate the accomplishments of the graduating class of 2020.

“We're proud to partner with America's hard-working dairy farmers to bring students who are missing out on their chance to cross the stage with their diploma, an opportunity to celebrate with their favorite Pizza Hut pizza,” he added.

The Class of 2020 has been impacted by the coronavirus pandemic as schools closed, and graduation ceremonies were canceled.
