The second season of “Fuller House” is in the books, and fans are left with even more questions than they had at the end of Season 2. With Steve (Scott Weinger) preparing to get engaged and DJ (Candace Cameron Bure) waiting for the return of Matt (John Brotherton), DJ and the rest of the family have plenty of uncertainties heading into the next season. While there isn’t any information about the plot of Season 3 available, we do know a few things about the upcoming season itself.

1. There will be a third season. Following the success of Season 2, series creator Jeff Franklin announced the hit Netflix show would be back for a third season and the rest of the cast shared the news on social media.

2. Season 3 will consist of 18 episodes. “Fuller House” isn’t just getting a third season, it’s getting an 18-episode season — up five episodes from the 13-episode previous seasons. The extra episodes is great news for Franklin, who told Forbes he had to adjust to a 13-episode season.

3. Filming will begin in March. While there is no release date for Season 3 yet, Dave Coulier recently revealed that filming for the upcoming season would begin in March and go until August. Both of the previous seasons premiered during the winter.

4. The original house may appear. In December, Franklin revealed he had purchased the original house from “Full House.” Currently undergoing renovations, Franklin hopes to have the house ready for the upcoming season. “We would take advantage of the fact that I now own the house, and we could go up there and shoot some new footage and maybe bring the cast up and shoot with them up there,” he told The Hollywood Reporter.

5. Don’t expect the Olsen twins to return. Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen didn’t reprise their role as Michelle Tanner in the first or second season of “Fuller House,” and a return for Season 3 doesn’t seem likely. Before the premiere of Season 2, Lori Loughlin revealed the twins would not appear but said the cast would welcome them back.
