The first official "Game of Thrones" fan convention is nearing, and it promises an exciting lineup of activities for fans, including panel discussions, autograph signing sessions, special guest appearances and a dance party.

The official fan convention will be held from Dec. 9 to 11 at the Los Angeles Convention Center in California, according to a Warner Bros. press release.

"Game of Thrones" series stars who are set to appear at the event include Kit Harington (who played Jon Snow), Alfie Allen (Theon Greyjoy), Jack Gleeson (Joffrey Baratheon), Kristofer Hivju (Tormund Giantsbane), Daniel Portman (Podrick Payne), Gemma Whelan (Yara Greyjoy) and Isaac Hempstead Wright (Bran Stark).

They will be joined by the creators and some cast members of "House of the Dragon," the spin-off prequel series to the original HBO epic fantasy series.

Paddy Considine (who played King Viserys I), Steve Toussaint (Corlys Velaryon) and Matthew Needham (Larys Strong) will also appear alongside the "GoT" stars, according to an announcement made Thursday via "GoT's" official Twitter page.

Fans will get the opportunity to "come up close and personal" with their favorite cast members through the cast meet and greets, autograph signings and panels during the convention, which promises to let fans "truly step back inside and revisit the world of Westeros and beyond," the press release said.

The three-day event will be hosted by Jason Concepcion and Greta Johnsen, the duo hosting "The Official Game of Thrones Podcast: House of the Dragon," which launched on Aug. 3 on streaming platforms.

A dance party to be hosted by special guest DJ Kristian Nairn, who played Hodor in "GoT," will be held in the evening.

Attendees are encouraged to come to the event in their best "Game of Thrones"-inspired costumes as they can win great prizes during cosplay and trivia competitions. Exclusive merchandise will also be sold during the highly anticipated event.

"House of the Dragon" co-creator and executive producer Ryan Condal will be making a virtual appearance live from London, where he is currently working on the second season of the prequel series, according to IGN. He will join hosts Concepcion and Johnsen to look back on Season 1.

Tickets are now available for sale on the official "Game of Thrones" website. Single-day general admission tickets are priced at $65 per day, while other ticket types and packages range from $195 to $1,489. Tickets for the meet and greet and VIP experience may be purchased through an online auction site.

Photo opportunities and autographs would vary by guest, so fans would have to pay an additional fee to personally meet their favorite cast member. Harington is available for both perks at a price of $250 for the photo op and $225 for the autograph.
