MiHoYo finally revealed the much-anticipated Inazuma update for “Genshin Impact” on a livestream at Twitch Friday where they featured all of the things that are set to arrive in the game by the end of July.

Here’s a quick recap of all the important additions coming to “Genshin Impact” 2.0.

New characters and weapons

The upcoming update will include two new five-star characters and one new four-star character. Based on the developers’ stream, Ayaka’s banner will be the first to arrive, while Yoimiya and Sayu’s will come right after.

The new set of four-star and five-star weapons will also be introduced in the update along with two new artifact sets.

The rest of the new Inazuma characters will be featured in a future update.

New bosses and domains

The new artifact sets can be acquired in new Inazuman domains. Additionally, a Pyro Hypostasis is getting introduced to the game as well as a new Ruin construct that allegedly drops Ayaka’s upgrade materials.

The Maguu Kenkii will be moved from the Golden Apple Archipelago to somewhere in Inazuma’s many islands.

Cross-platform saves

PC, PlayStation and Mobile devices will now have cross-save functionality, allowing players to choose between any of the three platforms to play “Genshin Impact” with one account seamlessly. Cross-saves previously weren’t available for PlayStation players due to network difficulties, but it seems like miHoYo has finally found a way to work around it.

Serenitea Pot additions

Soon, players will be able to add even more decorations inside their teapots. MiHoYo is once again increasing the maximum load for Serenitea Pot placeables and decorations to allow for more creative designs across all platforms.

Additionally, a new gadget that will allow the planting of seeds is getting added to the game in the new update, which will let players grow their own gardens.

Archon quest

The Inazuma archon quest will continue “Genshin Impact’s” main storyline and it will revolve around the conflict between the nation’s factions as well as other more profound dangers lurking in the shadows. Based on the Inazuma trailer, Shogunate loyalists will be squaring off against a resistance group composed of ordinary people and vision wielders.

Unconfirmed rumors suggested that there will two or more Fatui Harbingers involved in the Inazuma story quest.
