KEY POINTS

  • Yae Miko's materials can be found all around Inazuma
  • Players need access to Enkanomiya before they can farm for one of her ascension materials
  • Yae Miko will debut in "Genshin Impact" 2.5

Yae Miko is one of “Genshin Impact’s” most-anticipated characters. She’s poised to be one of the few true Electro DPS units in the game, and her sly personality from the previous Archon quest is something that many players just can’t seem to get enough of.

As of late, there are still a few days before her banner officially goes live. However, thanks to the Honey Impact database, players will be able to proactively farm for her unique ascension and talent materials. For those who want their Yae Miko to be in the best shape possible on the first day, here’s a quick overview of what rank-up materials she needs and how to get them.

Yae Miko Level Ascension Materials

Since she’s from Inazuma, Yae Miko’s materials can be obtained from the various enemies found in the region. To get her to her highest Ascension level, players will need the following:

  • 1x Vajrada Amethyst Sliver
  • 9x Vajrada Amethyst Fragment
  • 9x Vajrada Amethyst Chunk
  • 6x Vajrada Amethyst Gemstone
  • 18x Old Handguard
  • 30x Kageuchi Handguard
  • 36x Famed Handguard
  • 46x Dragonheir’s False Fin
  • 168x Sea Ganoderma
  • 420Kx Mora

Vajrada Amethysts can be obtained by beating either the Thunder Manifestation on Tsurumi Island or the Electro Hypostasis in Mondstadt. Both bosses respawn three minutes after being defeated, so be sure to save enough Resin for a day’s worth of farming.

Meanwhile, handguards can be farmed from any of the wandering Nobushi enemies in Inazuma. The samurai-style Kairagi enemies are often accompanied by their lesser brethren, which makes farming handguards less tedious. These enemies can be found via the Adventurer’s Journal.

Lastly, Dragonheir’s False Fins can be obtained by defeating the Bathysmal Vishaps in Enkanomiya. This does mean that players will need to do the quest to gain access to Enkanomiya itself.

Yae Miko Talent Ascension Materials

To max out Yae’s talents, players will need the following:

  • 6x Old Handguard
  • 22x Kageuchi Handguard
  • 31x Famed Handguard
  • 3x Teachings of Light
  • 21x Guide to Light
  • 38x Philosophies of Light
  • 1x Crown of Insight
  • 652,5Kx Mora

There’s one more mystery material listed under Yae Miko’s talent ascension requirements, but the Honey Impact database doesn’t have any information about it yet. It can be assumed that this is the rare material drop that can be farmed from the upcoming Raiden Shogun weekly boss fight.
