On Thursday, it was reported that "Ghost Adventures" star Zak Bagans has a new home with a dark past. According to TMZ, the TV personality purchased the house where Leno and Rosemary LaBianca were murdered by Charles Manson's Manson Family in 1969. The pair was killed the day after actress Sharon Tate and four others were murdered by the same individuals.

TMZ states that Bagans "jumped when he heard the home was up for sale for $1.98 million." Upon learning that it was available, he is said to have immediately visited the property.

When speaking to Fox 5, Bagans recalled that when he walked through the home for the first time he "felt things."

"It was very, very interesting. It was very powerful and I knew that I had to have it," he said.

Shortly thereafter, he made a close-to-asking offer on it, which was a smart thing to do as the realtor said that there were other backup offers in the pipeline. The sale will finalize just after the 50-year anniversary of the slayings.

The home, which is located in Los Angeles' Los Feliz area, is expected to close in September, reports Wonderwall. It is 1,600 square feet, has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a "sweeping views of the city."

According to Zak, he was drawn to the history of the residence because nearly everything inside was original. According to Oxygen, all of these factors came together to inspire the TV star to refer to it as a "holy grail" for a "collector of dark culture."

At this time, it remains unclear what he ultimately plans to do with the house.
