  • Gisele Bundchen had been looking at homes in Miami Beach even before Tom Brady took an 11-day break from NFL
  • The model closed on her new Florida property on Oct. 6, weeks before she filed for divorce from Brady
  • Bundchen's new mansion is located right across Brady's under-construction home on Indian Creek Island

Gisele Bundchen has bought a new mansion in Miami Beach, Florida, located right across the creek from where her ex-husband Tom Brady's pad is being built, according to a report.

Bundchen paid $11.5 million for the 6,600-square-foot home, which has a nearly direct view of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback's under-construction manse on Indian Creek Island, also known as the "Billionaire Bunker," Page Six reported.

The supermodel first viewed the property on Aug. 16, days before the NFL superstar took an 11-day break from the NFL for a personal matter. The move was said to be a last-ditch attempt to save their marriage.

"Gisele was actively looking at homes in Miami Beach even before Tom took his break from the NFL, which indicates that she was already done with the marriage and moving on," an unnamed source told Page Six.

Bundchen's new home sits on an 18,400-square-foot waterfront plot. It has five bedrooms, seven bathrooms, 25-foot ceilings, numerous terraces and views of a wide waterway plus Indian Creek Island, according to the property listing cited by the outlet.

It also boasts a large outdoor pool, a home theater, an office, a gym, a playroom and an eat-in kitchen that opens up to a patio. The master bedroom is on the ground floor and features his-and-hers baths.

Bundchen closed on the property on Oct. 6, weeks before she filed for divorce from Brady on Oct. 28. Their divorce was finalized on the same day.

The former Victoria's Secret Angel's new home is in Surfside—a very small town located between Bal Harbour and Miami Beach—almost directly across the narrow waterway also known as Indian Creek, while the seven-time Super Bowl champion's in-the-works mansion has a waterfront view of Biscayne Bay.

Bundchen and Brady originally purchased the $17 million property on Indian Creek Island in late 2020. They tore down a 5,722-square-foot home on the lot to build an eco-friendly mansion. Brady kept the property following their split, according to Page Six.

"You could literally swim from Gisele's place to Tom's — not that they would — but both homes will include a dock, so it would be very easy for them to co-parent their children while living so close to each other," the source told the outlet.

Brady and Bundchen share joint custody of their two children — son Benjamin, 12, and daughter Vivian, 9. The athlete is also a dad to Jack, 15, whom he shares with ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan.

Bundchen also purchased an Art Deco-style cottage in Surfside for $1.25 million in February, months before her marital woes with Brady made headlines. The 1,540-square-feet home has three bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms and an open-concept floor plan with an oversized marble waterfall island in the kitchen and double sinks in its primary bathroom.

The cottage is only half a mile from her larger mansion. It could be used as an office or a possible staff residence, according to Page Six.
