Brazilian fashion model Gisele Bündchen and her husband, New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, held hands after they left a movie theater in Boston Monday night. It’s a sign of affection some fans might be shocked to see since breakup rumors have flooded the Internet for months.

Brady, 38, was cordial to his wife and opened the car door for her, an insider told "Entertainment Tonight" Wednesday. The couple didn’t have a bodyguard for their night out on the town, adding to the casual feel of their Labor Day date night. "They seemed happy and content," the source said.

The couple appeared in sync and even wore coordinating outfits: white jeans and button-down shirts. The star quarterback opted for a navy blue shirt, while Bündchen, 35, wore a flowy beige top.

The former Victoria’s Secret model has been active on social media as divorce rumors swirled. Most recently, she posted a picture of Brady playing soccer with their 2-year-old daughter, Vivian. “And my heart melts ... #biggestlove #family,” she captioned the image. The picture garnered more than 171,000 likes from Bündchen's 6.1 million Instagram followers. As she does in most of her posts, the model also wrote in Portuguese for her Brazilian fans.

Though Bündchen hasn’t addressed the rumors, Brady slammed the gossip about his marriage Tuesday. "We're in a great place, I'll just say that," Brady said in an interview with Dennis & Callahan on Boston sports radio station WEEI. "I'm a lucky man."

Brady said divorce wasn’t in their future. "There's no bigger supporter that I have than her, and vice versa," he said. "I don't think anything will ever get in the way of that."

After winning his appeal in the Deflategate scandal, Brady will start as quarterback for the Patriots on their opening-day game against the Pittsburgh Steelers at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, Thursday at 8:30 p.m. EDT.
