  • Bill Goldberg earned $2 million in his 2019 fight against The Undertaker
  • He lost to Drew McIntyre during the 2021 Royal Rumble Sunday
  • Goldberg appeared in several movies and TV shows such as "NCIS: Los Angeles" and "The Goldbergs"

Bill Goldberg has a net worth of $14 million. He had one of the biggest paydays of his career in 2019 against The Undertaker.

Goldberg and The Undertaker faced off in WWE Super ShowDown in Saudi Arabia almost two years ago. The spectacle was a treat for fans both old and new as the two wrestling legends, who are Hall of Famers in their own right and were nearing the end of their illustrious careers, turned back the hands of time for probably one of the last times.

But how much was offered to lure Goldberg out of retirement at the time? The four-time champion took home a total of $2 million, according to TalkSport.

Saudi Arabia has hosted WWE matches in the past. The offered money was just too much for semi-retired fighters to pass up. It was reported that the host is paying up to $10 million annually so that WWE can hold events in their country.

Getting fighters to lace it up once again has been the trend not just in wrestling but also in other combat sports such as MMA and boxing. Although fans know their once-dominant fighters have become slower due to age and injuries, they cannot help but wax nostalgic upon seeing their heroes on top of the ring once again. Triple H and Brock Lesnar are also among those semi-retired or part-time who will take any match as long as the offer is lucrative.

As for Goldberg, the legend can still attract fans and viewers online. The Tulsa, Oklahoma native, in his peak, recorded feats no other wrestler has achieved. He is one of three men to win different belts at WCW and WWE. Goldberg also owns the record for the longest undefeated stretch in wrestling with 173 consecutive wins, per Celebrity Net Worth.

The former world heavyweight champion has been keeping busy with new endeavors post-wrestling. He had been a commentator for EliteXC until the MMA promotions closed down. Due to his charisma and gigantic frame, he has appeared in several movies and TV shows as well, including "The Longest Yard," "NCIS: Los Angeles" and "The Goldbergs."

On the personal side, Goldberg is married to Wanda Ferraton. The two share a son together named Gage.

At 54, Goldberg still has a lot to offer. He recently engaged in a fight against Drew McIntyre for the WWE Championship at the 2021 Royal Rumble. The champion retained his belt, but the challenger did pull some tricks up his sleeve to give McIntyre a run for his money. The showdown almost did not happen after McIntyre contacted COVID-19, according to Bleacher Report.
