Sia has just been nominated in the Best Pop Vocal Album category at the 2017 Grammys. She is up against Adele, Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande and Demi Lovato.

According to E! News, it was expected that Sia would be nominated for Album of the Year considering the timely release of some of her most popular songs. The singer just wrapped up a series of shows across North America where she was joined by “Dance Moms” alum Maddie Ziegler. The sold-out “Nostalgic for the Present Tour” featured Sia singing some of her hits, including “Alive,” “Big Girls Cry” and “1000 Forms of Fear.”

Meanwhile, following Sia’s Grammy nomination announcement, her 14-year-old muse, Ziegler, took to Instagram to congratulate her best friend. Ziegler also took the opportunity to express how much she loves Sia in her post, which showed the two of them wearing similar wigs.

Sia is also nominated in the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for her hit single, “Cheap Thrills.” The singer is also up for Best Song Written for Visual Media award for “Try Everything.”

In other news, Beyoncé is nominated in nine different categories at the 2017 Grammys. She will be up against Adele in five of the nine major categories this year. Beyoncé received recognition for her latest album, “Lemonade.” Adele, on the other hand, also received praise for her album, “25,” and both are nominated in the Album of the Year category. Beyoncé’s single, “Formation,” and Adele’s track, “Hello,” are nominated for Record and Song of the Year.

Other nominees include Drake and Rihanna, who both have eight nominations. The Chainsmokers are nominated in three categories, including best new artist. The DJ duo released their hit songs, “Closer,” “Don’t Let Me Down,” “All We Know” and “Setting Fires” this year, according to The New York Times.

The 59th annual Grammy Awards will take place on Feb. 12 on CBS.
