Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton wedding rumors have been making rounds online for quite some time now. Though the pair have made it clear, time and again, that they have no plans to settle down yet, many fans continue to speculate that the two singers are set to tie the knot very soon.

Us Weekly, in its most recent issue, claimed the Blake refused to propose to Gwen due to her wedding demands. The entertainment news outlet shared that the “Hollaback Girl” singer wants to utter her wedding vows to her boyfriend in a proper Catholic ceremony. However, this is impossible to happen right now since she has yet to wait for her marriage to Gavin Rossdale to be annulled officially.

A source told the publication that Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton “had some heated discussions” over this specific issue. The former husband of Miranda Lambert is, allegedly, not happy with waiting and is anxious to walk down the aisle. “In some ways they have this dark cloud hanging over them. They’re both emotional about wanting to get married as soon as possible,” the tipster went on.

Gwen, for her part, is said to be disappointed that Blake has not proposed to her yet even if they have, already, been together for four years now. The insider claimed the mom of three “feels like he could at least put a ring on her finger in the meantime” while waiting for her annulment from Gavin to get finalized.

Neither Gwen Stefani nor Blake Shelton has commented on the recent claims as of yet. However, the reports are unlikely to be true since the couple appears to be very happy with each other lately. In fact, a recent E! News video showed Blake saying that Gwen, who is set to receive the Fashion Icon award at this year’s E! People’s Choice Awards, does not have to do a thing to impress him.

“I know fashion’s always been important to you and it’s always been an important part of your life,” the “God Gave Me You” singer said in the video tribute. “I gotta say though. My favorite clothes of yours are the ones that are in the floor, you know what I’m sayin?” Blake stated before bursting into laughter.

In October, Blake Shelton celebrated Gwen Stefani’s 50th birthday with a sweet post on Twitter. "Happy Birthday @gwenstefani!!!! I love you so much it’s actually stupid… And possibly illegal in the state of California,” Blake tweeted. The couple is set to celebrate their fourth anniversary this month.
