Gwen Stefani has denied a rumor about Blake Shelton proposing her with a wedding in Kentucky Fried Chicken box. Shelton and Stefani have been battling pregnancy and marriage rumors since they confirmed that they were in a relationship.

Shelton popped the question to Stefani during an indoor picnic at her house, according to Radar Online. The country singer reportedly hid a $1.2 million Tiffany diamond engagement ring in the KFC box. However, Stefani refused the proposal citing several reasons.

During a June 3 interview with Mix 104.1 radio station, Stefani was seemingly surprised over the claims.

“Are you kidding me? Oh my God,” Stefani said after she was asked about the rumor. “The whole thing has gotten so out of control. I actually don’t eat meat,” the 46-year-old said.

According to a report in latest issue of OK! magazine, Stefani insisted 39-year-old Shelton to sign a prenuptial agreement, which included a “cheating penalty” clause.

The report said that the couple is “all business” when it comes to their future, and after a “devastating divorce” from Gavin Rossdale, Stefani is “determined to protect herself — and her $100 million fortune — no matter how smitten she may be.”

“She also wants a so-called ‘cheating penalty’ — to the tune of $3 million,” the magazine wrote.

However, Gossip Cop debunked the magazine’s report. A representative for Stefani told Gossip Cop that OK! magazine’s claims were not true.
