Gwen Stefani has surprised her husband, musician Blake Shelton, on stage during his performance at the Country Summer Music Festival in California.

Shelton took to Twitter on Monday to share a video of Stefani walking on the stage with a cake, wearing a white shirt. She grabs the mic and encourages the crowd to sing "Happy Birthday."

The musician, who turned 46 on Saturday, looked surprised by the setup. He went on to blow the candles on the cake as the 52-year-old singer jumped with excitement.

"Thank y'all for all the birthday wishes this past weekend and for y'all who came out to party at Country Summer!!!" Shelton wrote. "What a damn time we had.. also.. I love you @gwenstefani!!!!"

Many fans shared birthday wishes and reactions in the comments section.

"You deserve all the good things that come your way, happy birthday again, Blake! __ P.S. you and Gwen are goals!" one person wrote alongside a photo of the musician.

Another user shared a video of the couple kissing on the stage.

"You two make my heart so happy," the fan wrote. "There's love and there's once in a lifetime kind of love and you both have found the once in a lifetime love. I'm so happy for you both."

Stefani and Shelton began dating in 2015 and tied the knot in July last year. Stefani shares three kids – Kingston, 15, Zuma, 13, and Apollo, 7 – with her ex-husband Gavin Rossdale. She was married to Rossdale from 2002 to 2016.

Shelton was previously married to Kaynette Williams from 2003 to 2006 and singer Miranda Lambert from 2011 to 2015.

On the work front, Stefani dropped a music video, titled "Slow Clap," featuring rapper Saweetie last year. Shelton will soon be seen in a TV series, "Barmageddon," which is under post-production. He also composed music for the Netflix movie "Home Team."
