Gwyneth Paltrow has shared her thoughts on Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez's wedding.

On Friday, Paltrow — who had an on-again, off-again relationship with Affleck for three years in the late '90s — was asked by a fan during a Q&A on Instagram about how she feels about Lopez and the "Justice League" actor's surprise Las Vegas nuptials.

"Love!!! So romantic!!! Very happy for them," Paltrow responded, according to People.

The "Iron Man" star also previously expressed her support for Affleck and Lopez's reconciliation after the couple made an appearance at the Venice International Film Festival in September 2021 for the premiere of his movie "The Last Duel." It was Affleck and Lopez's first official appearance together since calling off their engagement in 2004.

"Okay, this is cute," Paltrow commented on a red carpet photo of the couple posted by Lopez's stylist Mariel Haenn on Instagram.

Affleck and Paltrow dated from 1997 to 2000, during which they starred together in "Shakespeare in Love" (1998), which earned her an Oscar for best actress, and again in "Bounce" (2000).

In an interview on "The Howard Stern Show" in 2015, Paltrow revealed that her parents were not fond of her romance with Affleck.

"He's super intelligent and really, really talented and he's funny," she said of her ex. "But he wasn't in a good place in his life to have a girlfriend."

But the Goop founder said she remains pals with Affleck, sharing, "I like him. I'm still friends with him."

Paltrow also had kind words to say about Affleck's then-wife Jennifer Garner. "He settled down, and his wife is awesome," she said. "Not only is she beautiful, she's so warm, and she cooks, and is so into her kids. She's really great. I like her a lot."

Lopez and Affleck tied the knot at A Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas, Nevada, on July 16. The intimate ceremony was reportedly attended by her child Emme, 14, and Affleck's daughter Seraphina, 13.

Their wedding was "not completely unplanned" as the couple previously discussed a possible elopement, a source told People.

"It was very important for them to have a private ceremony. They didn't want their wedding to be a spectacle," the unnamed insider added. "The Las Vegas ceremony was perfect. They both loved it. It was private and low-key. That's all they asked for."

Lopez shared details and photos from their wedding via her On the JLo newsletter the day after they tied the knot.

"We did it. Love is beautiful. Love is kind. And it turns out love is patient. Twenty years patient," she wrote, adding that their nuptials was "exactly what we wanted."
