Jennifer Lopez was "ready" to tie the knot with Ben Affleck the night he popped the big question, a report has claimed.

Lopez and Affleck rekindled their romance last year, more than 17 years after they called off their engagement in 2004. Nearly a year after they got back together, the Oscar winner proposed to the "Marry Me" actress for the second time in April, and over the weekend, they finally got married in an intimate ceremony in Las Vegas.

An unnamed "well-placed" Hollywood source told the New York Post's Page Six that Lopez had been "ready to get married since the night that Ben proposed."

"She wanted to lock this down and remove any chance for cold feet ASAP!" the insider claimed of the singer.

Another unnamed source told the outlet that Lopez's child Emme, 14, and Affleck's daughter Seraphina, 13, were the only ones in attendance when the pair exchanged "I do's" at Las Vegas' Little White Wedding Chapel Saturday.

The couple reportedly celebrated their nuptials with pizza and Diet Coke on a private jet back to Los Angeles in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Lopez shares 14-year-old twins Emme and Max with her ex-husband Marc Anthony. Meanwhile, Affleck has three kids with ex-wife Jennifer Garner: Violet, 16, Seraphina and Samuel, 10.

Garner has not publicly commented on her ex-husband's wedding to Lopez. However, Affleck reportedly told her about his nuptials a day before it happened.

"Ben did tell Jen about the wedding, but I'm told that it was only Friday at the earliest. It was very, very minimally planned in advance and was largely spur of the moment. Violet stayed home because she's extremely loyal to her mom," the Hollywood source told Page Six.

Garner was reportedly soaking up the sun in Lake Tahoe when Affleck and Lopez headed to Las Vegas. She's currently filming her Apple+ thriller "The Last Thing He Told Me," based on Laura Dave's bestselling book, which follows a wife after her husband disappears.

Garner and Affleck got married in 2005 and announced their split 10 years later. They finalized their divorce in 2018.

Following his split from Garner and before he reconnected with Lopez, Affleck dated "Saturday Night Live" producer Lindsay Shookus, Playboy model Shauna Sexton and Ana de Armas.

The "Knives Out" actress recently revealed that her much-gossiped romance with Affleck made her leave Los Angeles.

"Horrible," the "Gray Man" star told Elle magazine when asked about the rumors and attention she received when she was with Affleck. "That's one of the reasons why I left L.A."
