‘Haikyuu!!’ Season 4, Episode 18 Preview Trailer, Spoilers: Sarukawa Tech’s Trap For Nekoma

The anime series has shifted its focus from the ongoing Karasuno High vs. Inarizaki High match to showcase Nekoma High taking on Sarukawa Tech High. Episode 17 revolves around Kenma Kozume’s backstory. "Haikyuu!!" Season 4, Episode 18 is expected to continue to show more of Kenma and his calm demeanor.

The official preview teaser for "Haikyuu!!" Season 4, Episode 18 shows Sarukawa Tech High’s players in action against Kenma and the others. The last shot shows Kenma in deep thoughts.

The previous episode starts with Suguru and Mika visiting the other court in the stadium to watch the first set between Sarukawa Tech High and Nekoma High.

"Haikyuu!!" Season 4, Episode 17 enters into the flashback mode to show Kuroo, Yaku and Kai chilling in the lobby of their hotel. They discuss how they should be encouraging the juniors ahead of the next tournament.

Kenma appears and the third years comment how someone as fragile as Kenma will represent the team in the nationals. However, Kuroo trusts Kenma’s skills and stands by him.

Later, in the match, Sarukawa Tech High’s Iori Kanazawa thinks he has an opening but Nekoma High manage to dig it out.

Both Sarukawa Tech High and Nekoma High are considered masters of defense. Meanwhile, Suguru noticed that Sarukawa Tech High are deliberately avoiding scoring quickly.

He adds that Nekoma has a superior level of defense and the players can even dig out perfect attacks. However, he feels Sarukawa Tech’s players are trying to throw off their rhythm rather than score.

Toward the end of the episode, Coach Shishio of Sarukawa Tech High is confident that their plan is working and they will crush the opposing team.
