Pack your bags, we’re going on a cruise. Well, real-life couple Alexa PenaVega and Carlos PenaVega are in Hallmark Channel’s upcoming movie, “Love at Sea,” and they’re bringing us along for the ride when it airs on Aug. 11.

The flick, which is based on Barbara Oliverio’s book “Love on the Lido Deck,” premieres during the network’s Summer Nights event and International Business Times has your first look at the trailer.

The two have always loved cruises, often sharing their trips on social media, and now they’ve brought that love into their acting careers. Also joining in on the fun is their son, Ocean, who will make his onscreen debut in “Love at Sea.”

The film follows Olivia Grayham (Alexa PenaVega), a child of the hotel business, who’s decided to try her hand at being an event planner. She gets a great opportunity when her best friend Alexandra (Melissa Caracache), who’s taking her popular YouTube series onto a Caribbean cruise, gets her a gig on the same ship. Olivia must organize events for fans, both online and onboard, but she’s a master planner and seems to have everything all worked out.

“She’s no sooner onboard than she faces her first curveball: the ship’s longtime cruise director has been reassigned and instead she will be working with his second-in-command, Tony Rieves (Carlos PenaVega), who has already begun putting his stamp on the ship’s activities,” the synopsis reveals.

“With no option but to adjust to each unexpected development that comes her way, Olivia realizes that there are some things that simply can’t be planned or anticipated – like falling love.”

The Hallmark movie was directed by Mel Damski from a script written by Nina Weinman. Beth Grossbard and Lisa Demberg are executive producers. Before “Love at Sea,” Carlos and Alexa starred together in Hallmark Channel’s “Enchanted Christmas” last year, and Alexa’s had a few of her own movies on the network. The couple also has a Hallmark Movies & Mysteries film, “Picture Perfect,” in the works.

“We have always found great joy celebrating some of our most memorable moments on cruise ships, and ‘Love at Sea’ is truly a labor of love where we get to include our entire family,” Carlos and Alexa said in a press release. “The opportunity to work simultaneously with two of our favorite partners, Hallmark Channel and Royal Caribbean, is a synergistic dream come true.”

“Love at Sea” premieres on Hallmark Channel on Aug. 11 at 9 p.m. EDT.
