Last month, HBO Now fans were excited about the big season premieres of “Game of Thrones,” “Silicon Valley” and “Veep.” Now, as the online subscription video on demand service shuffles its content deck from May to June, viewers can look forward to the season finales of those series and much more.

Film fans also can anticipate the arrival of blockbuster hits such as “The Martian” and “The Maze Runner” among the cavalcade of HBO Now content that will be available to stream next month. And those awaiting the epic sequel “Independence Day: Resurgence” this summer can get ready for it by watching the 1996 original movie starring Will Smith that launched the alien-invasion cinematic franchise.

Although HBO Now will be getting some impressive content, the changeover also means that next month will be the last chance for the service’s users to check out films such as “Fifty Shades of Grey” and “Kingsman: The Secret Service” as they will disappear by the end of the month. It will be an especially big blow for horror fans, with “The Hills Have Eyes II,” “The Purge: Anarchy” and “What We Do in the Shadows” all being removed as viewing options.

To help you plan your film and TV viewing, below is a rundown of what’s up with some of the content to be added to and removed from HBO Now offerings in June.
