Heartbreaking Reason Jennifer Garner Decided To Forgive Ben Affleck For Cheating

Jennifer Garner was the epitome of courage and forgiveness even though she has endured a lot during her marriage to Ben Affleck.

Years ago, reports swirled that the “Batman v Superman” star cheated on Garner with their children’s nanny. The “Peppermint” actress revealed during her interview with Vanity Fair that she and Affleck had already been having problems even before the Nannygate rumors surfaced.

Following the couple’s tumultuous split, Garner heartbreakingly told the publication why she decided to forgive Affleck. She also said that she has decided to stay friends with the father of her children, Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel.

Garner said that she decided to stay friends with her ex-husband for the sake of their three children. Whenever Affleck would come to their house, Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel seem to be at their happiest.

“But you should see their faces when he walks through the door. And if you see your kids love someone so purely and wholly, then you’re going to be friends with that person,” Garner explained.

Garner continued to look at the brighter side of things post-divorce by saying that she finally has more time for herself because she used to invest everything in her marriage. However, the actress doesn’t know how exactly she would make use of her extra time.

Some of the things that she got back to doing after her marriage ended included playing the piano, going back to church, reading and writing poetry, attending dance classes, and more.

Meanwhile, Garner and Affleck are in a much better place in their relationship as co-parents at the moment. They regularly see each other, and they also get to celebrate important occasions with their children.

Last year, photos of Garner and Affleck hanging out with their kids from taking them to their swimming lessons to going to Disneyland and celebrating Thanksgiving together all made headlines.

However, Garner and Affleck have not spent time with each other since December because they are both busy with their upcoming projects.
