With E3 and most of the biggest game reveals out of the way, many are left wondering what else is in store for the gaming community. More big gaming-related news and announcements are coming soon courtesy of Gamescom 2021, which is scheduled for later this month.

Much like in the previous years, Gamescom will be featuring a number of big players in the gaming industry, from AAA gaming studios and publishers to indie game developers. Gamers can expect some significant reveals come Gamescom 2021, but the specific details are still obscure as of now.

Some of the participating brands and organizations have been made public in the past. According to PCGamesN, the Gamescom 2021 lineup currently has three participants. Here’s the current roster of confirmed press conferences and presenters that players can look forward to by the end of the month.

Xbox – Aug. 24

The first day of Gamescom 2021 will feature Xbox, and it will reportedly reveal more information regarding titles that fans already know about or have already been announced, like “Halo Infinite.”

Xbox previously revealed “Starfield” and its estimated release date back in E3, and fans can only hope that more news regarding that game will be shown during Gamescom.

It’s likely that Xbox will showcase updates for “Elder Scrolls Online,” “Fallout 76” or even “Avowed,” the new RPG that’s currently being developed by Obsidian.

Geoff Keighley’s “Opening Night Live” – Aug. 25

“Opening Night Live” is a two-hour program hosted by Geoff Keighley. Fans can expect to hear some news regarding some of the biggest releases and updates scheduled for the holiday season.

The Future Games Show – Aug. 26

Over 40 games will reportedly be shown during the Future Games Show’s presentation. This will mostly include titles from independent developers or AA studios, however, so fans should temper their expectations.

However, this presentation will supposedly feature big names like Koch Media, Team17 and Tripwire Interactive, all of which are reputable for producing hit games like “Metro Exodus,” “Overcooked,” the “Worms” series and “Killing Floor,” among many others.
