Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson is seemingly working on making her love life public based on her latest gesture on social media.

The reality star, who just turned 16 on Sunday, has updated her status on her private Facebook account to indicate that she’s “in a relationship” amid reports that she’s dating a 20-year-old college student, Page Six reported Wednesday.

The outlet also noticed that Alana changed her cover photo to a selfie she took with her rumored boyfriend Dralin Carswell, who commented on the photo with the word “bae” and a heart emoji in the comments section.

However, it appears that their relationship started earlier this year as Dralin reportedly first changed his Facebook status back in March.

In May, Alana’s older sister and current guardian Lauryn “Pumpkin” Shannon-Efird, 21, confirmed that her younger sister was already dating. At the time, she noted that the whole family approves of Honey Boo Boo’s boyfriend.

“She does have a little boyfriend who, like, comes over and stuff, like, he comes over for dinners and stuff, he’s very respectful. Everyone approves of him,” Lauryn told Entertainment Tonight.

Alana, who was also present during the exclusive interview, chimed in saying, “It’s good having a boyfriend. I like it.”

After being together for a solid six months, more details about the couple have started to surface this week, according to The Blast, who also noted that Honey Boo Boo’s family does not mind the four-year age gap.

Dralin was described to be a quiet person at the start of their relationship, but he’s like “one of the family now,” the outlet said, citing a source who exclusively spoke to The Sun about Alana and the college student’s romance this week.

Both Alana and her boyfriend live in Georgia, where the legal age of consent is 16. Page Six reached out to the rep of the former “Toddlers & Tiaras” star for comment, but there was no immediate response.

The news comes a week after Alana’s cover story for Teen Vogue was released. In her tell-all, she addressed the body shamers and also opened up about her decision to move on from her Honey Boo Boo days.

“Just because I got a little bit of extra meat on my bones, you want to hate me? I’ll never get body shaming. … I don’t understand why people think this way,” she said.

Alana then went on to say that she’s so far from that “boisterous little girl” her fans saw on her former reality shows, and she now wants to be addressed as “Alana,” the name that her mom June Shannon, 42, gave her.
