Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson and sister Lauryn “Pumpkin” Shannon-Efird may have just reacted to the news that Mama June Shannon lost big time after selling her home at a lower price.

On Tuesday, Pumpkin took to her Instagram account to share a snap with her younger sister. In the photo, the two of them look really happy as they display huge smiles for the camera.

Lauryn may have also subtly shaded their mother, who abandoned them for her ex-convict boyfriend Geno Doak. Apparently, Pumpkin indicated in the caption that she loves seeing Honey Boo Boo “be the best she can possibly be.”

It can be noted that Mama June just abandoned her teenaged daughter when things got messy between her and her family while they were still filming “Mama June: From Not To Hot” Season 3. In the aftermath, Pumpkin was granted custody over her younger sister.

Lauryn’s post comes the same day when TMZ broke the news that the Hampton, Georgia home Mama June desperately sold for $100,000 is now being listed for more than $220,000. She also sold it for less than its appraised value of $150,300.

What’s more is that sources disclosed to the entertainment news and gossip outlet that Mama June actually bought the house in 2014 for $156,000. This means it’s such a huge loss on her part.

When Mama June sold her home, she simply approached a group of real estate investors called Felicia Harrell and Keller Williams Atlanta Partners and informed them that she was selling it for just $100,000. At the time, Mama June was desperate to get rid of her property, purchase an RV and travel around the country with Geno.

The real estate group then quickly poured $30,000 into renovations to make the property look good again, as per the New York Post. In addition to its new look, the house’s value may have been positively impacted by the fact that it was featured on Mama June’s reality show. So now it is up for grabs for $225,000.

Last month, Mama June and Geno were charged with a felony for possession of crack cocaine. They were arrested in March, just a few days before the third season of her reality TV series premiered. The couple could possibly face years in jail soon, according to People.
