Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson and sister Lauryn “Pumpkin” Shannon appeared to have indirectly voiced their disapproval of Mama June’s decision to run away with boyfriend Geno Doak.

Earlier this week, the reality TV siblings took to Instagram to post cryptic texts on how they are “ok not to be ok.” While Alana borrowed some lyrics from Jessie J’s “Who You Are” for her post, Pumpkin chose to make it more personal by voicing her hope for a better future.

“I’ve been through the ringer and back. I can’t wait to see what the future has in store,” Pumpkin captioned a selfie she uploaded on the photo-sharing platform.

Many fans who are aware of what the sisters have been going through ever since Mama June’s arrest in March and her decision to ditch Honey Boo Boo for Geno left encouraging messages on their social media posts.

“I just watched the last season of your show. I am sending my best wishes to you during this difficult time, and to say stay strong, things will get better,” one fan wrote.

Their posts came days after it was reported that Mama June sold her house in Hampton, Georgia so she could buy an RV and hit the road with her ex-convict lover.

Mama June’s neighbors said at the time that the “From Not To Hot” star has been telling that she and Geno are going to live the RV life and tour around the country. She reportedly planned this so she could lave all her troubles behind, including her daughters.

Shortly after the news broke, Honey Boo Boo seemingly threw some shade at her mom when she gushed about always being there for Pumpkin’s daughter with husband Joshua Efird, Ella Grace.

“I am at an age where I do not want children yet, I’m just to [sic] young but being able to love on my niece like she is my own is so amazing,” she wrote on Instagram at the time, adding that she’ll be ready to give Ella some advice about life when the time comes.

In the finale of their reality series, it was revealed that Pumpkin has been granted custody over her younger sister after Mama June’s arrest and battle with substance abuse. Alana has since been staying with her older sister’s family.

There were rumors that Honey Boo Boo and Pumpkin could be getting their own show since Mama June is out of the picture. It’s also unlikely for “From Not To Hot” to be renewed for another installment since producers aren’t willing to bring back the show until Mama June gets professional help.
