Honeymoon Continues In Paris For Ian Somerhalder, Nikki Reed

Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed are quickly becoming one of the sweetest couples in Hollywood. The pair spent a romantic Memorial Day weekend in Paris and they weren’t hesitant to show their newlywed bliss.

Pop Sugar released exclusive photos of the newlyweds Tuesday, showing them walking the picturesque city streets of Paris, looking sweet and very much in love. They even piled on some affection, with one picture showing Somerhalder giving his wife a kiss while strolling around the city.

Before enjoying Paris, the two made their first red carpet appearance as husband and wife on Wednesday at the Cannes Film Festival, reports People. Somerhalder, star of "The Vampire Diaries" star and Reed, a star of the "Twilight" movies, both looked gorgeous in Azzaro Couture ensembles, with Reed donning a formfitting blue gown with a lengthy train, while hubby was decked out in a classic black tux and his signature scruff. Though a lot of A-list celebrities attended the event, all eyes and flashbulbs were on Somerhalder and Reed.

The pair were married a month ago in a romantic sunset ceremony in Santa Monica, California. After saying “I do,” the newlyweds jetted off to Mexico for their honeymoon and continued on to Brazil to attend an Azzaro cologne event in Rio de Janeiro, E! News reported.

The couple is known to be very vocal about how they feel for one another, as evidenced by the sweet messages made via social media. These include Somerhalder’s Instagram posts last week, when Reed celebrated her 27^th birthday. The actor wrote several “I love you”-themed messages, along with a lovely birthday greeting, writing: “Happy Birthday my love. Me and the world celebrate you and hope all of your dreams come true. I'm in awe of your compassion to create positive change in the world."
