How To Get A Free Starbucks Drink To Celebrate Spring

Starbucks is ready for spring to come early, and they’re celebrating by giving customers a buy one, get one free offer. The deal is only for Starbucks Rewards members, and they’ll have to follow specific instructions.

On Tuesday, Rewards members received their usual marketing email, but if they scroll down, they’ll find the exciting offer. “Celebrate spring with a free drink,” Starbucks announces.

On Thursday (March 4), US customers can use the Starbucks app to order ahead, and they’ll get a coupon for a free drink coupon redeemable March 10 through March 12.

There are some rules. The drink ordered on Thursday has to be at least a grande or larger size. The drink must be handcrafted beverage (meaning not ready-to-drink canned or bottled products), and the offer excludes hot brewed coffee or tea, alcoholic beverages, and Starbucks Reserve beverages.

After purchasing a drink in the app on March 4, a free drink coupon will be automatically loaded to customers’ Starbucks Rewards accounts on March 10. The voucher has a maximum value of $10 and cannot be combined with any other offers or discounts. The free drink must be redeemed by March 12.

Starbucks is also celebrating the launch of their spring menu. Oatly oatmilk is now available to add to all drinks, and the Oatmilk Honey Latte is available nationwide for the first time.

New beverages include an Iced Chocolate Almondmilk Shaken Espresso and the Iced Brown Sugar Oatmilk Shaken Espresso. Meanwhile, the Chickpea Bites & Avocado Protein Box is the latest vegan food option.
