'How I Met Your Mother' Star Alyson Hannigan Drops $8M On Brentwood Home

As classic as "American Pie," Alyson Hannigan and her "Guardians of the Galaxy" actor husband Alexis Denisof recently dropped $8 million on a four-bedroom, six-bathroom home in Los Angeles' posh Brentwood Park neighborhood.

According to Trulia, the 6,484-square-foot spread is a classic American Traditional estate on an extravagant 26,000-square-foot lot.

The living room features crown moldings, hardwood floors and a stone fireplace. An intimate den nearby boasts a library and another fireplace and opens to the patio area. A large formal dining room leads to a chef’s kitchen with an oversized island.

A spiral staircase leads upstairs to three bedrooms, in addition to the master suite, which includes a sitting area, walk-in closet, oversized bathroom and private balcony.

The "How I Met Your Mother" actors' home also comes with a 1,000-square-foot, one-bed, two-bath guesthouse with its own living room, Jacuzzi, fire pit and sound system.

This isn't the couple's only LA property. Hannigan and Denisof also own a 4,186-square-foot three-bed, two-bath home in sunny Santa Monica. They purchased it for $1.936 million in 2002.
