Kate Middleton’s marriage to Prince William changed the royal family in a positive manner.

A source told Vanity Fair that the royal couple’s union brought harmony to Queen Elizabeth II’s family. “There’s a happiness in the House of Windsor generally at the moment for the first time ever,” the source said.

The royal family’s dynamic was also helped by Prince Charles marriage to Camilla Parker Bowles in 2005.

“Charles and Camilla are genuinely happy. William is happy because Charles is troubled less, and he has Kate to share his future with,” the source added.

Middleton and Prince William tied the knot in 2011 at Westminster Abbey. Their wedding was attended by their relatives, and the ceremony was broadcasted live on television. Years after their wedding, Prince William and Middleton announced that they were expecting their first child. On the day of their first child’s birth, the world learned that they have a boy in Prince George.

Two years after Prince George’s birth, the royal couple announced that they were pregnant with their second child. It has been common practice among royals to not announce the sex of their baby until after the birth. Middleton gave birth to Princess Charlotte in 2015.

Most recently, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge welcomed their third child, a boy, who they named Prince Louis. Now, the family of five enjoy their bonding moments as frequently as possible. They recently traveled to Mustique with Middleton’s parents.

In related news, Middleton and Prince Williams made headlines this week after their interview from years ago resurfaced. Royal fans were left confused by the Duke of Cambridge’s comments about attending Peter Phillips and Autumn Phillip’s wedding.

Middleton attended the nuptials and that was the first time she met Queen Elizabeth II. But she went to the wedding by herself because Prince William was in Kenya at that time. However, during an interview, Prince William seemed to have insinuated that he was also at the same wedding. But he wasn’t.

Prince William was in Kenya that time to attend the wedding of his ex-girlfriend Jecca Craig’s brother.
