Rumor has it Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge is pregnant with her fourth child, and there’s more than one member of Britain’s royal family who will reportedly be thrilled to learn the pregnancy news.

According to Star Magazine’s Dec. 24 print issue, the reigning Monarch, Queen Elizabeth II, will be happy when she learns she has another great-grandchild on the way.

“She’ll be thrilled,” an unnamed “friend” said of the Queen’s reaction when Kate and husband Prince William tell her they’re expecting once again. “The Queen has four children, and this would be a nice way for Kate to follow in her footsteps.”

While Kate and William, both 36, are said to be keeping quiet about their speculated fourth child as to keep from stealing Duchess Meghan Markle’s pregnancy “thunder,” they have reportedly told their three children.

“Kate and William bent down and told Princess Charlotte she was getting a baby sister and she was so excited she started dancing around the room,” a “palace insider” told the magazine. “Prince Louis is too young to understand, but Prince George can’t wait to have another sibling.”

The palace has not confirmed or denied the rumors Kate is expecting another child.
