Taylor Lautner's name has been mispronounced by many people all these years.

Lautner, 29, catapulted to fame after starring in "Twilight" alongside Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart. They became a household name, but many have been saying Lautner's name wrong this whole time.

Lautner spoke with E! News Thursday to promote his partnership with Courtyard by Marriott. He introduced himself by his full name and surprised many upon realizing that the first syllable of his last name actually rhymes with "out" and not "lot." In short, it should be Taylor Lowt-Ner and not Lot-Ner.

During the interview, he also shared his thoughts on the latest Gen Z trends, such as hating the side part because it accentuates the forehead and makes one look uneven.

"Although you have attempted to cancel the side part, I am an advocate for the middle part. Please don't let that one go. Keep the middle part for me or Kendall Jenner," he jokingly said before adding, "Yeah, that is a message from Jacob Black."

Lautner partnered with Mariott ahead of the 2022 Super Bowl to reveal a suite at the SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, where L.A. Rams will take on the Cincinnati Bengals on Feb. 13.

The actor is in a different stage of his life after the "Twilight" saga. However, the powerful fandom of the hit movie series has kept haunting him.

When he spoke with Jason Kennedy on NBC's "Today" in January, he admitted that he didn't want to go out in public and stayed away from grocery stores, malls and movie theaters for nearly ten years because the franchise was too popular.

"I went so many years either not leaving my house, or if I did, hat, sunglasses, and just like, [feeling] scared," he explained. "It built up something inside of me where, I didn't know it, but I was scared to go out. I'd get super anxious to go out. So I just didn't."

Lautner is engaged to his longtime girlfriend, Taylor Dome. They announced their engagement in November 2021.

In one post on Instagram, he shared snaps of him down on his knee with petals of roses scattered on the floor.

"11.11.2021 And just like that, all of my wishes came true," he wrote in the caption.

In a subsequent post, the couple posed with each other, with Dome showing off her engagement ring. In the caption, Lautner said he couldn't wait to marry his fiancée.
