Turkey Day is around the corner and with it, comes the much-awaited “A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving” that will air on TV and online for those who want the Peanuts gang joining their festivities.

The Emmy Award-winning Thanksgiving special will be broadcast ad-free on PBS and PBS Kids stations at 7:30 p.m. EST on Nov. 21. It will also be streaming on Apple TV+.

The holiday special features Charlie Brown and three friends trying to put together a last-minute Thanksgiving dinner for their guests. As they scramble in the kitchen, it is unsure whether they will be successful hosts as Charlie also has to go to his grandmother's.

“We are delighted to bring the joy of these holiday classics to families across the country, in partnership with our member stations,” PBS president and CEO Paula Kerger said last month in a statement.

“During these challenging times, public television continues to be a free and easily accessible source of comfort, inspiration and education for millions of Americans,” he added.

The 1973 film made its Apple TV+ debut last year on Nov. 18 after the film announced it would no longer be streaming on TV. Following a petition signed by over 250,00 viewers urging for the film’s return, Apple proceeded to partner with PBS to broadcast “A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving” once again.

The Peanuts’ Thanksgiving film is available year-round for Apple TV+ users as well as two other Peanuts’ holiday specials. Subscriptions to Apple TV+ start with a free 7-day trial and cost $4.99 a month after that.
