The annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade is returning to the streets of New York to usher in the joyous spirit of the holidays with a roster of celebrities including South Korea’s rising girl group Aespa.

After a “made for television” parade last year due to the pandemic, Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade is welcoming back the crowd with vaccine and mask requirements for its staff members and volunteers.

Aespa will fly from South Korea to New York City to join one of the most anticipated events in the nation where various decorated floats go on parade amid large balloons, marching bands, performances and of course, eager fans.

The group will be performing on top of the “Her Future is STEM-sational” by Olay, according to Koreaboo.

Aside from Aespa, the other celebrities who will grace the 95th Thanksgiving Day Parade also include Carrie Underwood, Jimmie Allen, Jon Batiste, Kristin Chenoweth, Darren Criss, Jordan Fisher, “Blue’s Clues & You!” host Josh Dela Cruz and the former hosts of “Blue’s Clues” Steve Burns and Donovan Patton.

Rock band Foreigner, Sara Bareilles, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Paula Pell, Busy Philipps of Peacock’s “Girls5eva,” Andy Grammer, Mickey Guyton, Chris Lane, Miss America Camille Schrier, the cast and Muppets on “Sesame Street,” Nelly, Kim Petras, Kelly Rowland, Rob Thomas, Tai Verdes and Zoe Wees will also be at the event. Meanwhile, Tauren Wells and Santa Claus will also attend the event.

This year’s Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade begins on 77th Street and Central Park West at 9 a.m. on Thanksgiving morning. It will march its 2.5-mile route from Central Park West to Columbus Circle, moving forward onto Central Park South and turning to Sixth Avenue before turning west on 34th Street and ending on 7th Avenue in front of Macy’s Herald Square, reported USA Today.

It will feature 15 character balloons, 28 floats, 36 novelty and heritage inflatables, more than 800 clowns, 10 marching bands and nine performance groups. It will be aired via NBC and Telemundo and will stream on Peacock.

Macy’s announced the event's lineup via its official Twitter account Monday.

“This Just In! Here’s the star-studded lineup for this year’s 95th #MacysParade,” it noted.

The announcement was accompanied by a short clip flashing the photos of celebrities joining the festivities.

“It's back, and we're excited to bring it back to the streets of New York City in its full form, in the way that audiences have grown to know and love us,” Will Coss, the parade's executive producer, said as per USA Today.

“It's going to be a celebration of spectacle, a celebration of performance, a celebration of culture, a celebration of love. It's going to be a really exciting day, and we're really just elated to have the opportunity to bring it back in its true form,” he added.

Broadway will also be featured in the parade with performances from musicals “Six,” “Moulin Rouge!” and “Wicked.” There will also be a sneak preview of NBC’s “Annie Live!” and the Radio City Rockettes during the event as per the outlet.

Aespa's labelmate, South Korean Boyband NCT 127, performed at Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade in 2019.
