Mask-wearing bacon lovers now have something to celebrate as Hormel (HRL) has launched a Black Label Breathable Bacon face mask.

The announcement from the Black Label bacon maker said the face mask was “revolutionary” because it has technology that allows the mask to smell like bacon when it is being worn. The face mask is made with two-ply, multi-fiber cloth

Hormel is offering customers the opportunity to win the face mask while supplies last. Now through Oct 28, bacon fans can visit Hormel’s www.BreathableBacon.com and enter for a chance to win their own limited-edition Black Label Breathable Bacon face mask for free.

Hormel said that winners will “look and smell great wherever they are” when wearing the bacon face mask. It even encourages face mask winners to share pictures of themselves on social media wearing the Breathable Bacon mask using the hashtag #BreathableBacon.

As part of the giveaway, Hormel said it will donate one meal to Feeding America for every request their receive on the website for the face mask up to 10,000 meals.

“We're continually focused on innovation – from new products, to marketing and distribution – all in an effort to deliver new and exciting ways to experience and enjoy Black Label Bacon,” Nick Schweitzer, senior brand manager at Hormel Black Label Bacon, said in a statement. “In 2020, that means connecting everyone's favorite bacon scent to the year's 'it' accessory, and in doing so, bring Black Label Bacon closer to our fans.”

Hormel Black Label previously introduced a bacon-fueled motorcycle, a musical experience using the sounds of bacon, and The Black Market multisensory virtual reality experience.
