Hulu Movies Leaving In October 2018: Best Titles Disappearing From Streaming Service

Halloween isn’t the scariest thing happening at the end of October 2018. It’s the fact that so many great movies are leaving Hulu.

Don’t find yourself getting my spooked out by the flicks disappearing come Oct. 31. Instead, spend the month watching all the best Hulu movies before they’re gone from the streaming service. Go back in time with a selection of classic 1980s movies, like “Sixteen Candles,” “Spaceballs” and “Pretty in Pink.”

Get reacquainted with Bruce Willis’ David Dunn and Samuel L. Jackson’s Elijah Price in M. Night Shyamalan’s “Unbreakable” before you see them again in “Shaft” next year. After you’ve been thoroughly thrilled, check out Molly Shannon and Will Ferrell’s iconic comedy “Superstar,” which was a spinoff from a collection of “Saturday Night Live” skits. Laugh a little more with the classic mockumentary, “This is Spinal Tap,” which Rob Reiner both directed and starred in.

As the month inches closer and closer to Halloween, get in the mood for the scary holiday with some horror and sci-fi flicks. If virus-infected movies are your jam, “28 Weeks Later” is a good pick. If aliens are more your speed, there’s always “Invaders from Mars.” Well, there is until Oct. 31, at least.
