The pair has had a very public “bromance” over the years, appearing in several films together and even spoofing celebrity couple Kim Kardashian and Kanye West. Leave it to James Franco and Seth Rogen to introduce a little humor during a time of war. While the Internet is abuzz over a hotly contested Vogue cover photo featuring Kim Kardashian and Kanye West (a.k.a. “Kimye”), Franco and Rogen, two of the stars of “This is the End,” created their own version of the cover photo, and it’s just what we needed to remind ourselves that in the end -- it’s just a photo.

Late Friday night, Rogen tweeted an altered version of the notorious Kimye Vogue cover that includes James Franco’s head in place of Kanye’s and Seth Rogen’s face in lieu of Kim’s. “It had to be done,” Rogen wrote.

Franco later posted the same Photoshopped image to his Instagram account with the caption, “Seth! Love you, dog!”

The original magazine cover, shot by famed photographer Annie Leibovitz, depicts Kim in a white strapless Lanvin wedding gown, flashing her 15-carat diamond engagement ring, while Kanye stands behind her with his arms wrapped around his soon-to-be bride.

Franco and Rogen's version of the Kimye Vogue cover photo is an obvious nod to the actors’ earlier spoof of Kanye’s video “Bound 2.” Franco and Rogen’s parody video, called “Bound 3,” include= images of the two funnymen straddling a motorcycle and making out just like Kanye and Kim do in Kanye's video.

Here’s what Rogen tweeted on Friday, including the Photoshopped Vogue cover image.
