“Jane the Virgin” stars Justin Baldoni and Gina Rodriguez are just as fun to watch off-screen as they are on-screen, since they love to post goofy photos and videos on social media and poke fun at each other from time to time.

Just recently, Baldoni posted a throwback photo on Instagram. In it, he is posing beside Yael Grobglas, who is flashing a huge smile. In between them is a poster of “Jane the Virgin” featuring Rodriguez, and Baldoni has his finger up her nose.

Seeing the photo made fans missed the show, which is currently on a break. Several people also commented that it would be nice if Jane and Rafael could back together. “October can’t come soon enough!” a fan commented, referencing to the return of Season 4. “Jafael end game,” another wrote.

After Michael Cordero (Brett Dier) died last season, many people immediately came to the conclusion that Jane and Rafael would indeed be the show’s endgame. After all, they’ve become best of friends while co-parenting baby Mateo, and Jane’s heart glowed again for her baby daddy during the Season 3 finale.

Baldoni earlier gave fans some hope that Jane will live happily ever after with Rafael. “There’s a chance they could be endgame,” Baldoni told Hollywood Life of his character and Jane. “But I mean, I don’t know. We’ll see. There’s a few more years left.”

Show creator Jennie Snyder Urman is not revealing what her endgame plans are, but she told Entertainment Weekly that the ups and downs of Jane’s romantic life are all part of her big journey. She might have lost the love of her life abruptly, but that does not mean she won’t learn to love again.

“What I want to see in the back half of the series is how she regains some of that optimism, some of that love, and starts to believe in romance again and how it’s different from what she first thought it was, so we’re going to get into that and how does Jane believe in magic again,” she explained.

“Jane the Virgin” Season 4 will return on Oct. 13. at 9 p.m. EST.
