Why so serious, Jared Leto? The 43-year-old actor and musician previously cut and bleached his gorgeous long locks for the role of the Joker in the coming “Suicide Squad” movie. Fans have been patiently waiting to see his transformation into the infamous “Batman” villain, and he finally shared a photo with his hair turned bright green.

Leto took to Snapchat to share a quick tease of his new look. Snapchat users are aware that photos can be displayed only for a max 10 seconds, but an adroit viewer grabbed a screenshot of the actor before the image disappeared forever. The picture has now made its rounds on the Internet, showing Leto with not only green hair, but a lovely shade of lipstick as well. Check it out:

“Suicide Squad” director David Ayer shared the first photo of the actor’s drastic haircut on Twitter in early March. Shortly after, Leto displayed his new bleached color at Paris Fashion Week.

“Suicide Squad” is slated for an Aug. 5, 2016, theatrical release. The DC/ Warner Bros. film is about comic villains who help the government out in exchange for lighter prison sentences. Details on Leto’s role as the Joker are scarce, but he will star alongside Will Smith (Deadshot), Joel Kinnaman (Rick Flagg), Jai Courtney (Boomerang), Cara Delevingne (Enchantress), Viola Davis (Amanda Waller), Jesse Eisenberg (Lex Luthor), Adam Beach (role unknown) and Ike Barinholtz (role unknown).
