  • Jazz thanked her dad for fully embracing her “as the kooky person I am”

Jazz Jennings took the time to celebrate Father’s Day with her dad Greg Jennings.

On Sunday, the 21-year-old LGBTQ rights activist uploaded a heartwarming snap she took with her father. In the photo, Jazz flashes a big smile while taking the outdoor selfie, and Greg is seen grinning at the back.

“You’re the man [Greg]. I’m so lucky to have you as a father. You are incredible, wise, empathetic, and honorable. I cherish every moment I spend with you knowing that not everyone has a dad like you. Thanks for embracing me as the kooky person I am. Love you,” Jazz wrote in the caption.

Greg quickly responded to his daughter in the comments section, writing, “I”m a lucky dad. Love you and our fun family.”

Jazz’s brother, Sander, joined in on the sweet family interaction. He agreed with what Jazz wrote and stated, “We are lucky to have such a great dad.”

The post was met with a flurry of comments from fans who had nothing but praise for the Jennings patriarch.

“The cutest dad. Such a strong man to fight for his family. Enjoy today,” one wrote.

“You are a lucky woman to have a wonderful father like him. You are both amazing,” another commented.

Meanwhile, there is still no word on the possible renewal of their family’s reality show. TLC has yet to issue an official statement indicating that “I Am Jazz” would be back for Season 8. Hence, the series is still in limbo as of late.

Earlier this year, Jazz’s mom, Jeanette, admitted that would be impossible for them to film content for the show while the titular star is studying at Harvard University. The school does not allow cameras on the campus.

In the Season 7 finale, Jazz seemingly dropped hints that she may be walking away from reality TV. She shared on the show that she was so excited to begin a new chapter in her life and “be independent and on my own.”

Fans were also left confused when Jazz posted throwback photos of her family taken from the earlier seasons of the TLC series as though she was saying goodbye. But it should be noted that the network has not announced the cancellation of the series.
