Jazz Jennings showered her father Greg Jennings with love and praise as he celebrated his birthday this week.

The Jennings patriarch turned 54 on Tuesday, and in honor of his natal day, Jazz, 21, took to Instagram to post a sweet tribute for him. The trans activist first shared a couple of photos showing her and her dad smiling to the camera. She then poured her heart out in the caption.

“HAPPY BIRTHDAY to this incredible man. There are not many fathers out there who would allow their child to transition in a time when transgender youth were practically unheard of,” she wrote.

Jazz continued, “You have given me a voice and the freedom to be my true self. I love you so much and will always cherish our special connection. You da (sic) man.”

Jazz’s brother Sander, 23, agreed with his sister. He left a comment on the post saying they are “so lucky to have the best dad in the world.”

Sander also paid tribute to their father on his Instagram by sharing a montage of their photos together through the years.

“Happy birthday to my hero! You’ve always inspired me to be the best version of myself and are such an incredible role model. I appreciate everything you have done for me, and one day I hope to be as great of a father and husband as you are,” he captioned his post.

Many fans flooded the siblings’ posts with heartwarming messages for the birthday celebrant. A number complimented Greg for being a great father to the trans TV personality who has been in the spotlight since she was 11 years old.

Their family’s reality series, “I Am Jazz,” officially came back for its seventh season on Nov. 30. On the show, Greg continues to show his utmost support to his youngest daughter, who is now preparing for her freshman year at Harvard.

When Jazz opened up to her parents about interning at her doctor’s office, Greg and Jeanette voiced encouragement to their daughter’s plan to be “productive” for the next six months prior to her next academic journey.

However, Greg admitted in a confessional that he’s worried Jazz might be afraid and even freak out at the sight of blood in the clinic.

“I Am Jazz” Season 7 airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. EST on TLC.
