KEY POINTS

  • Jazz Jennings showcased her new makeup look on Instagram
  • Fans flooded her post with compliments for her gorgeous look
  • Some social media users asked her about school since she’s currently attending Harvard

“I Am Jazz” star Jazz Jennings shared a new update on social media, but it did not concern her yet-to-be-renewed reality TV show.

The 21-year-old trans activist took to Instagram Thursday to share a selfie showcasing the teal eye makeup she had put on. The color matched the pendant on her necklace. Jennings then kept the caption short, only writing, “The next step.”

Fans quickly left positive messages on her post as most of them found her look gorgeous. Some even took notice of the jewelry she wore for the snap.

“Your makeup looks just wonderful. Of course, having a gorgeous face to work with [helps],” one wrote.

“Beautiful job on the makeup! Pretty necklace,” another commented.

“You can never go wrong with teal-colored eye shadow,” a different user added.

Some fans also wondered how she was doing after starting college recently. The finale of “I Am Jazz” Season 7 showed the reality star finally heading to Harvard University after conquering a few setbacks.

“Such a pretty young lady…hoping everything is going well with school and health,” commented one fan.

“You are beautiful Jazz with or without makeup. So how is school going for you? Hope you are doing great,” added another.

When the finale aired earlier this month, fans were confused after Jennings uploaded a compilation of family photos taken over the past seasons and wrote a cryptic caption that seemingly signaled the end of the road for the reality series.

“That’s a wrap!!! I can’t believe it’s been seven seasons of ‘I Am Jazz!’ My family and I are so blessed to have been given this platform to spread unconditional love and bring awareness to the transgender community for the past seven years,” she wrote in the caption.

As of late, TLC has yet to announce the fate of “I Am Jazz.” TV-tracking site Premiere Date indicated in a report that the current status of the show is “not renewed yet.”

Meanwhile, Jazz’s mom, Jeanette Jennings, previously revealed in an interview that it’s really up to her daughter if they are moving forward with an eighth season.

“I can say this, that it’s really in our hands, to put it that way. It’s really what Jazz wants to do, so it could be. But if she’s like tied up with summer school or something, they can’t film up at Harvard. They’re not allowed to … have cameras up there. Without her, we wouldn’t have a show,” Jeanette said.
