  • Jeff Goldblum and Kyle MacLachlan modeled Prada's latest men's collection
  • They were alongside eight other Hollywood stars
  • Goldblum is set to appear in "Jurassic World: Dominion" this year

Jeff Goldblum and Kyle MacLachlan opened and closed the Prada runway show titled “Body of Work” at the Milan Fashion Week Sunday.

Prada’s Men’s Fall-Winter 2022-2023 Menswear Show featured Goldblum, MacLachlan, and eight other budding Hollywood stars, Thomas Brodie-Sangster, Damson Idris, Asa Butterfield, Tom Mercier, Louis Partridge, Jaden Michael, Ashton Sanders, and Filippo Scotti.

The actors were handpicked by designers Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons, who collaborated for the latest collection to represent “real men, recognized figures.”

“We were thinking about meaningful fashion, pieces that make sense,” said Prada in the show notes. “Clothes that make people feel important, and that are therefore, in themselves, important, not something to discard.”

Both Goldblum and MacLachlan donned lengthy overcoats during their stint. MacLachlan wore a timeless dark overcoat that featured a metallic blue garb underneath. He completed his look with a pair of gloves and a white turtleneck with yellow and purple ornaments.

Meanwhile, Goldblum’s overcoat featured a furry trim. He appeared on the zigzag runway emerging from a tunnel with purple lights, pretending to be surprised to find himself under the spotlight.

After the show, Goldblum took to Twitter to talk about the experience. “Thank you #RafSimons! What an honor to open the @prada #FW22 Menswear Show for #MilanoFashionWeek!,” he wrote.

Prada said they opted for Hollywood actors as models of the new collection because “taking theater and cinema as mirrors of reality, for the Fall/Winter 2022 Prada men’s show by Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons, the Deposito of the Fondazione Prada is reimagined by AMO as a stage for action, a representation of a heightened actuality."

"Actors are interpreters of reality, employed to echo truth through their protrayals,” the brand said.

Goldblum is set to appear in “Jurassic World: Dominion,” which premieres in theaters on June 10. Joining him in the cast are Sam Neill and Laura Dern, who starred alongside him in the original “Jurassic” movie, “Jurassic Park.” Meanwhile, MacLachlan, who is best known for his role as Dale Cooper in “Twin Peaks,” last appeared in the 2017 revival of the television series.
