Several other known television personalities shared this momentous event. From the likes of Carina Adly MacKenzie, creator of “Roswell,” to Kathryn Gallagher, “Jagged Little Pill” musical star, who conveyed their warmest greetings.

Ushkowitz previously dated “The Vampire Diaries” actor Michael Trevino. The pair called it quits in 2014 but according to Ushkowitz, the former couple was still close.

Ushkowitz and Stanley started dating in 2018 and the engagement announcement came after the couple celebrated their 2nd anniversary, USA Today reported. The former “Glee” star posted a sweet message for Stanley on June 30, telling him that she couldn’t wait to spend the coming years with him.

The last few weeks had been bitter and sweet for Ushkowitz because it was also last month when her former “Glee” co-star and friend, Naya Rivera, died.

Ushkowitz, just before Rivera’s body was found on July 13, posted a snap of the sun. Unknown whether it was rising or setting in the horizon, the 34-year-old actress captioned the snap with “Please find her.”

Days after Rivera’s body surfaced on the lake, Ushkowitz posted some snaps of her and the late actress to honor her and their friendship. On July 18, she retweeted a post of her other “Glee” co-star, Heather Morris.

Rivera went missing on July 8 after taking a boat ride with her son in Lake Piru. Her body was found five days later —an eerie circumstance to some because it was also the day the former “Glee” cast gathered to remember the 7th death anniversary of Cory Monteith.

Ushkowitz played the character of Tina Cohen-Chang, a major character on “Glee”.
