Jennifer Aniston is rumored to be officially back with ex-husband Justin Theroux amid rumors still linking her to Brad Pitt.

New Idea published a report claiming that the “Murder Mystery” actress has rekindled her romance with her second ex-husband. The publication’s headline read, “Confirmed: Jennifer Aniston, Justin Theroux back together.” The tabloid claimed that the exes are “as close as ever” and mentioned the various reunions they have had this year.

Aniston and Theroux just recently reunited to celebrate Thanksgiving together with the “Cake” star’s friends including Courteney Cox, Jason Bateman and Jimmy Kimmel. He reportedly posted a snap from the celebration and said that he was thankful for “these friends and these nights.”

Aside from their Thanksgiving reunion, they also got together when their beloved dog Dolly passed away in July. Theroux even posted a photo of their pet and a snap of him and Aniston holding hands.

Theroux also penned a sweet message for Aniston on her 50th birthday. In his birthday greeting for his ex-wife, “The Leftover” actor described Aniston to be a “fierce woman” who is “fiercely loving, fiercely kind and fiercely funny.”

Aniston and Theroux have remained amicable following their split. In fact, they had the most gentle breakup. However, one should take the report about them being romantically back together with a grain of salt.

New Idea’s headline seemingly “confirmed” that the exes were back together. But in their article, they asked if the two will be getting back in 2020 and even added, “only time will tell.”

The claims about Aniston and Theroux getting back came shortly after the actress allegedly had a breakdown after learning that Pitt has a new girlfriend in the person of Alia Shawkat. An insider denied the rumored romance between Pitt and Shawkat. According to the source, the two are just friends.

Aniston remains good friends with both of her ex-husbands. Pitt was even present during her 50th birthday bash. Despite going through two failed marriages, Aniston said that she is still open to finding a new love because it is a “beautiful thing.”
