Jennifer Garner Embarrassed Son Samuel By Doing This On His Birthday [PHOTO]

Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck's son, Samuel, wasn't impressed with the actress' birthday surprise for him earlier this week.

On Thursday, Garner, 46, shared a hilarious photo of herself on Instagram from her son's 7th birthday party, which had a "How To Train Your Dragon" theme. She even had a cake made based on the animated flick's beloved dragon, Toothless.

In the snap, Garner looks excited as she brings our her son's birthday cake. But keeping up with the theme, she made sure to dress up as female viking warrior, Astrid, from "How To Train Your Dragon." The "Alias" alum had on leather armor, fur boots, a matching shawl and blue face paint to match Astrid, who was voiced by America Ferrera in the film.

However, Garner revealed that her son was more embarrassed than happy to see his mom dressing up for his 7th birthday party. "Well, guess what. It turns out seven is the age my kid stops thinking it’s cool when I dress up for the party," she wrote as caption, adding the hashtags, "youngest child," "first eye roll," and "anyone need an Astrid?"

But while Samuel wasn't on board with Garner's look, Ferrera totally approved of the actress' amazing costume. She praised Garner's display on Instagram Stories, sharing a photo of her look and the message: "Ahhhh!!!! Yeeeeessss!!! AMAZING @jennifergarner as ASTRID!!"

Aside from Samuel, Garner also shares daughters Violet, 13, and Seraphina, 10, with Affleck, with whom she finalized their divorce in October last year. Garner and Affleck continue to co-parent their three children harmoniously, with the two even being spotted chatting happily as they take their kids to school recently.

Garner has since moved on from Affleck, however, and she is currently dating Cali Group CEO John Miller. There were rumors earlier this year claiming that the two may be tying the knot in the near future, but a source told Entertainment Tonight that both Garner and Miller aren't ready for another marriage just yet.

"While they've spoken about a future together, neither of them are ready to plan a wedding or get engaged," the insider said. "Jen has no interest in jumping into marriage quickly. She only just solidified her divorce so right now she just loves all their time together.”'
