Jennifer Garner doesn’t believe in applying too much makeup, but in a recent interview, she admitted that her time spent in the makeup chair may have impacted her children. Her children have seen her both with and without makeup, and the actress is concerned about how her children watching her in the makeup chair has affected them.

In an interview with People, Garner said that the life of her children is “extra complicated” because they grew up watching their mother in the makeup chair. The actress explained that she literally nursed them sitting in the makeup chair.

Garner spends 90 percent of her time with her family without makeup. However, she wondered what impact the version of her with makeup has on her children, especially her adolescent daughter, Violet.

When it comes to makeup, Garner said that she is the happiest when she looks like herself. However, the actress is keen on making sure her children use sunscreen.

Garner shares three children with her ex-husband Ben Affleck. She has two daughters, Violet and Seraphina Rose Elizabeth, and son Samuel Garner.

Despite her busy schedule, Garner finds ways to spend time with her children by doing unexpected things. Not everything she has planned for her children has worked out the way she wanted, and her son’s recent birthday party was one such occasion.

Garner dressed up in a “How to Train Your Dragon” costume for her son’s birthday and shared a picture of the party on Instagram. The actress wrote in the post that her son was not impressed with the outfit, and this was apparently his first eyeroll.

Affleck was also there at the birthday party. The actor also got into the Viking theme, but didn’t dress up like his ex-wife. In an interview with ET Online, the “Gone Girl” actor said that his son told Garner that the world already has an Astrid, referring to her “How to Train Your Dragon” outfit.

“She had gone to all these lengths to put on the costume,” Affleck said about Garner. The actor revealed that his ex-wife was “devastated” that her son didn’t like her Astrid costume.
