Fans who were rooting for Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Evans to become a Hollywood couple will be disappointed with an update from E! saying recent reports of them dating are not true.

Hollywood has been abuzz with reports that something romantic is brewing between celebs Lawrence and Evans. A report from Life & Style magazine claimed that the two stars “just started seeing each other,” according to an insider, PerezHilton.com reported. The insider also shared that the “Joy” actress’ relationship with the "Captain America: Civil War" actor was “very new” and that only the two stars’ closest friends know of their romance.

“They've only gone on two dates so far, but they have been texting each other and talking on the phone. They even had a pizza-and-movie date at Jen's place,” the insider added. "Amy [Schumer] had actually been pushing Jen to date him, telling her how hot Chris is and how crazy she'd be if she didn't go for it."

However, a source told E!News that the dating "reports" are just rumors and that there’s no truth to them. The source even described Lawrence as a “happily single” woman.
