Jennifer Lawrence Getting Back Together With Nicholas Hoult? Actor Ended Romance With Kristen Stewart For ‘Mockingjay’ Star: Report

It appears Jennifer Lawrence's failed romance with Coldplay frontman Chris Martin has her ex-boyfriend holding out hope they can rekindle their own flame. Three months after calling their on-again, off-again relationship quits, British actor Nicholas Hoult is once again reportedly keen on reuniting with the “Hunger Games: Mockingjay” star.

According to a report in the Dec. 15 issue of Life & Style magazine, Hoult recently broke up with his “Equals” co-star, “Twilight” actress Kristen Stewart, in hopes of getting back together with Lawrence, 24.

“Nick and Kristen talked about it and decided to cool things off. It wasn’t a bad split. … It actually ended in October,” an insider told the magazine of Hoult and Stewart’s short-lived romance. Despite the pair reportedly enjoying a three-month relationship on the set of their drama/sci-fi film in Tokyo over the summer, the source claims that Hoult, also 24, always carried a torch for Lawrence following their latest split in August.

“Nick is still in love with Jennifer,” said the insider. “You can hear it in the way he talks about her. She’s the love of his life.”

So will Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult get back to together? Luckily for Hoult, it appears he still has a chance. The magazine is reporting that the former couple are still on speaking terms. The duo even reportedly remained friendly during his alleged romance with Stewart. “She always felt like there was a chance Nick and Jen would reconcile,” a source said of Stewart.

Stewart seems unfazed by the "mutual" split from Hoult. The magazine reports that the 24-year-old actress is more interested in her former boyfriend and “Twilight” co-star, Robert Pattinson. “She’s still hung up on her ex,” reports the tabloid.

While there still may be a chance for Lawrence and Hoult, things aren't looking so good for a Robsten reconciliation. In recent months, Pattinson, 28, has been seen out and about with his new leading lady, alternative singer and fellow British native FKA Twigs. While Pattinson has yet to speak out about his romance with Twigs (Tahliah Barnett), the 26-year-old “Two Weeks” singer wasn’t shy about sharing her feelings in a recent interview with the Guardian.

“I look uncomfortable because I am uncomfortable,” Twigs said when asked about dealing with the paparazzi when in public with her new beau. “But then, it’s like, is this person in my life worth that? And he is, without question… In comparison to how happy I am. And how I feel with him. It’s 100 percent worth it.”
